Sounds Of Silence, In Pencil

For the contest, a drawing based on a favorite song. I had the idea to make several drawings and put then together in Flash format. Here it is, hope you like it. Done with graphite, charcoal and colored pencils.

It's the story of a little mouse who has a terrible dream about humans losing their humanity when they replace their God with Technology.

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made.
And the sign flashed out it’s warning,
In the words that it was forming.
And the signs said, the words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls.
And whispered in the sounds of silence.
